kyle and brittin klints bro and his prushus daughter came over yesterday. we went and did a couple fun things and just hung around the house for a bit. the gals played and had fun. they love each other lots. and it makes me happy.
brit found pollys beauty and the beast 3D glasses.
we popped the lenses out a while back so polly could wear them as often as her heart desired.
that squeaky talking cat... whatever the heck his name is.
even while resting, daddy is the protector of all.
boys absolute favorite thing in the whole wide world?
a SHOWER!!!!
he loves the water.
polly wanted to play hopscotch really bad today. it was cold out. so instead of just saying no cause no is never any fun i took a sharpie to some pretty pink and purple card stock, taped it to the kitchen floor, instructed "princess ballerina polly" to fetch her huge diamond and her brudda and we played PRINCESS HOPSCOTCH!!!! which is way better than lame ol' chalk on the pavement.
daddy had a turn. he had to use the owl face sign. it was imperative.
"hop hop hop hop hop" -ted
his faces make me laugh.
boy love
sure son, that seems healthy. why not?
i swear, he gets more and more handsome every single second of every day!
he is an angry drinker. you dont wanna come around after hes thrown back an 8 of milk.
polly LOVES to help me cook. so, of course i let her do as much as she can.
tonight while in the kitchen, she only referred to herself as "big chef."
where that came from, ill never know. but it sure did make me chuckle every time it came out of her little mouth.
i have this uncle. his name is brian. he is the absolute sweetest man that you will ever meet. i seriously love his guts. he is all big and muscly, owns harleys, hand makes huge knives and tomahawks completely on his own, has long hair, tattoos and wraps a bandanna around his head. all in all, he is a total bad ass.
a really sweet total bad ass.
ANY WAY
my point:
while playing with polly, klint wrapped this around his headextra piece of red fabric from the little red riding hood cape i made for her the other night.
with this on, polly looked up at klint, laughed really hard and once she caught her breath, exclaimed "YOU LOOK LIKE UNCLE BRIAN!"
it was truly awesome.
i pinned you. not because i am returning the favor but because i genuinely enjoy your indoor hopscotch idea.
