im not good at keeping up on this. but i am quite proud of my self for doing this right now! hooray me!! we have been
SO busy busy busy lately! we went to california
AGAIN and it was a wonderfully bitter sweet trip. so much fun was had visiting with family and of course, doin the d-land thang. again. it never gets old. that was all of the sweet. bitterness was going to my aunt t's memorial. she passed a bit ago and oh boy is she dearly missed and thought of each and every day. i know she is in a much better place and is "happy, full of light and free of anxiety" (words of her own. seriously.) but it doesnt make it any easier for those of us still sitting around here. especially when you put a christmas card in an envelope, address it to her and dont realize that you cant actually send it until you are about to place a perdy little christmas stamp on the corner. sigh. life goes on...
anywho
yep, i just said that i spent a weekend in denver w my most beautiful aunt suzi. did crud for the bizznazz, but mostly it was just an awesome excuse to play and shop
and shop and play and take time off from my mom duties. its nice when that happens. o and while im on the subject, my kids are still rad. they just say and do more and more, everyday that either "cracks me the freak!" or truly amazes me. polly is still just being polly. funny as can be. she had her christmas program for pre-school on thurs. she sang and did the little jiggy movements for rudolph but that was it. she stood completely still, mouth shut, didnt let out a peep the whole rest of the time.... that was at least until they busted out the candy canes at the end. my gal. did i mention that they had it at a retirement community? so adorable were all the old folks. the little ladies even cried at the end. old people warm my heart. most of them. not the bitter old hags. i just feel bad for those ones. the ted master is talking
SO much! i love when he says polly. it for sure sounds like potty but is so sweet to hear him call his sisters name. the other day he walked around the house for a good 4 minutes,
really, that is long when wr talking about a 15 month old repeating "where-a-yoouuu dad? dad? where-a-yoouuu? where-a-yoooouuu? dad?" while searching every last inch for him. presh. yea. i know it. oh, prob my fave... we play this game. we chase each other around, pat each other on the rear end and say "spank ur bum!" strange? perhaps but i love it. mostly cuz both of my littles love it and both say funny things while playing. ie: polly
"SEE! IM A SUPER FAST RUNNER! I DO A GREAT JOB RUNNING! YOU CANT CATCH ME!" or teddy in his sweet little, can barely understand him toddler jibber-jabber "spank-a-but!" o dear. my heart is bursting just thinking about those two.
lately, i have had this newly found sense of creativity and ingenuity. and energy. and the realization of how truly cool i am, being able to make all of my own lotions (body and face), creams (diaper and eczema), face mask and
DEODORANT!!!! what?! thats right... i make deodorant. and it
ACTUALLY WORKS! surprised? i was too. only the crappy crud filled with junk and barf have ever worked for me. i have
NEVER had success with
ANY type of natural doedorant.
EVER. and especially not the ones that claim to be natural and breast cancer friendly and dont have aluminum in them but really do... so, with all of this greatness that has filled me to the brink, i have decided that i am going to start selling my wonderful items. if all my friends and family love and enjoy them, why wouldnt the rest of the world? and if they dont and i fail miserably? welp, sucks to be them! i will still have all of my dear homemade products, all to my self. alright. thats enough for know. bye.
in case anyone needs to know, mooselipper is now the name of the mean cat on cinderelly. no longer lucifer. mooslipper.
