i am not being biased. they are awesome. and hilarious. mostly the little pink one. teddy is too, but being so little still, and lacking in communication skillz, it can be hard to understand him at times. well, all the time. cuz really, he only knows like 6 words. what words you ask? SURF being the latest and greatest. he knows what and where daddys surf boards reside in the house hold and can take you straight to them needless to say, klint, grampa dunky and uncle doug are all quite proud. light, what, mom, dad, milk, plaaa which i like to think means polly, oooooooo, thank you, love you and the all so very popular among the new talkers word, not phrase "whassat?!" anyway, they make me laugh and smile really large every day of my life. funny things polly has been saying lately. oh, just in case you are not in the loop, she is married. and has a husband. lincoln dehaas. if you ever try to call him her friend, she will quickly correct you. i am ok with this. in fact, i love it. i love this little. AND his family is radical. we are all great friends, so it makes for some niceness. now that you know, i will get back to the funny things that have escaped my childs mouth:
1: my other very good and nice lovely les love, jenalee had a baby. a sweet little thang named gracie ruth. i love her with all of my heart. her name, again, is gracie ruth. not according to P-dawg. "baby greasy " is what she prefers to call her. no matter how many times i correct.
2: "fistaker makompas = the man, not woman, that came to america. on ships. not boats."
3: i got frustrated w ted man cuz he kept throwing his dinner all over the floor. pink finished all of her food and asked for more rice. since boy's was just going to waste i said, "here, just eat your brothers." to which she replied, in quite the nanny nanny boo boo tone "haha! i get to eat your ri-ice, cuz your throwing it on the flo-or!" first of all, RUDE! second, he has no idea you wr just being a total butt cheese. which is really what made it so funny.
4: linc was on his way over for a play date. i told her no more shows cuz she had already watched like 3 episodes of strawberry short cake. she was PISSED about this. she demanded, "MY HUSBAND IS GOING TO BE HERE SOON AND HE CAN WATCH WHAT HE WANTS TO WATCH! AND HE LIKES STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE AND HELLO KITTY!" no honey, he doesnt like those. hes just smart. he knows how to handle his wife.
5: linc took a bathroom break
i: no polly, you cant go in there!
p: why not?
i: lincs goin potty and he needs his privacy
moment of silence......
p: (with a sigh) husbands are like diamonds...
6: she likes to call old men, "young boys"
7: bought her a new dresser. wasnt allowed to even help transfer her clothes. with her hand up in my face, in the obnoxious manner that crossing guards do, "no mom, you can not be my big helper. i am a big gwerl and i can do it. i will do it. not you."
8: for my birthday, i wasnt allowed my own cake. i was told to "use daddys old cake. the one i made him for his birthday 6 days prior. just put new candles in it." GREAT IDEA!!!
9: we have "girls club" at some point every day. it is held in her room and its only the 2 of us doing whatever she wants for an allotted period of time. this morning, we sat on our knees just like in the movie on the magic carpet her bed, she jasmine, i aladdin. singing a whole new world OVER and OVER again. until i had to start being raja.
10: after daddy and brother got their hairs cut, polly wondered why she didnt get hers cut as well. i explained that she is very lucky to have such beautiful hair and others dont have any. so, we are going to let it grow reaaaaly loooong and then cut it off, so we can send it in the mail to another kid that doesnt have any hair and make them very happy. "AND THEN IT CAN BE SHORT AND TURN BROWN LIKE RAPUNZEL?!?!?!" i think she missed the point.
there are lots more. but im getting sick of typing. mostly, she just amazes me. the stuff that she says.... with no influence on our part. teddy is just fab. such a lover. i get loves and kisses from him all the time. he loves to play chase. loves to stand on his head. loves to get stuck in small places. loves to eat toilet paper. maybe because it dissolves easily? loves to destroy and make an enormous mess of everything. loves loves loves and admires his sister with all of his huge little heart. that, more than absolutely anything, sings my soul. i am so blessed to have been trusted with such marvelous little beings. why? we will never know. but i like it. oh, and my husband is the best there is. sooooooo, im leaving in a few hours. to california. perhaps i should think about packing. gross.

this day.
i dont understand those mothers that are up and beautiful, showered, make upd, hairs did, kids bathed, clothed, fed and ready and out and about for their day all by freakin 9 o'clock am, in the morning. am, in the morning... any one else with me on this one? like how i act like people not only will read my blog post, but will also comment on it? i think im rad. i had one of those days today. except we didnt have to leave until 11 and it was still rough. i had SO much to do that no matter how badly i wanted to, i could not procrastinate. i had to feed my littles bruffus, get them presentable, get my self presentable, take polly to school, come home and nap, feed the boy lunch, went to pick up my vacuum, a whole other story that i will get to at the end of these ramblings, pick the pink one up from school, get my air pressure in my tires fixed, go to whole foods, home depot, stop for hot chocolate of course AND i even made dinner!!!! cut the meat off a rotisserie chicken and boiled some tortellinis that i threw some jarred sauce on. hey, at least it was all organic. maybe that doesnt sound like much, but for a person who rarely showers before noon, it was outrageous. props to the lass' who do it on the daily. tomorrow i will stay home, drink more hot chocolate w the nuggets, MAYBE find something to clean and play. oh, thats another thing. how do so many women manage to keep their homes so immaculate? mine is always an atrocious mess! there are constantly toys strewn across the house, blankets everywhere, ancient fort ruins, and other who knows whats, in who knows wheres.... you know, like a shoe in the bathroom drawer. or a slice of toast in with the dvd's. where was i going with this? i dont remember....
VACUUM! dyson = faggots. 5 year warranty my behind! the already outlandishly priced vacuum that was purchased by i, broke. thats right. mid vacuuming, it just stopped. a $500.00 vacuum BROKE! naturally i called dyson. "oh dont worry maam, maam? im not old!, you can just take it to get repaired and we will cover it... just give them this job #." LIES!!!! it was fixed. but not on dysons dime. after the repairs wr completed, they refused to pay. as i mentioned before, FAGGOTS!
the end.
p.s.
please pardon the background of choice and its gnarly-ness. i got sick of trying to figure this blog crud out.
