aunt penny helped me drive the littles out. heaven knows that if i tried to drive 67483649 miles w my 2 nuggets alone, we wouldnt have made it. at least not in one piece.
we had quite the eventful trip.
started out w copious amounts of screaming and crying bloody murder due to a speck sized spider found crawling on her jacket, followed by chunks being blown all over the back seat car sickness has plagued my pols since her earliest day, a stop at the st george fire station to hang w the handsome firemans and lipstick-less, GASP! i know... just wait till you see how attract i was. and waaaaay too many a potty break. none of us could seem to coordinate our bladders.
whats most important? we made it. and in a relatively decent amount of time. everyone has their limbs still attached.
oh, but the first stop was only minutes after we left. really. we didnt even make it to the gas station for coffee before penny and i decided that photes must been taken of the frizzin foliage and fence.
honestly, if it had to happen, couldnt have worked out more perfectly:
p: BLLAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
i: (trying to catch it in a bowl while turned around in my seat) ooooh my honey!!!!!
p: (whine-ing with puke all over her) I DONT LIKE TO BE LIIIIKE THIIIIIIS!
i: (broken hearted)
penny: oh look! an exit in 3 miles!
lucky for us, i know my babe. extra pair of clothes in the back. boom! mom skillz at their finest. we got her all cleaned up, ant penny gave her a lovely post-puke hair-do and she got a new coloring book to keep her mind off of the horrid incident.
stopeed once again to get out and walk around a bit as to avoid any possibility of another upset tummy. fire station no.8 was conveniently located right off the exit we took.
real life fireman sam!!!! are your kids obsessed w the claymation show on netflix? mine are. and this studs name really was sam.
you wish you had a gut like mine ... and awesome jammies.... and bed head.... no really, i didnt even brush my hair that day. dirt bag style.
and teaching skills like penny.
and by the time we arrived, all were pooped.
Sis! You captured the day perfectly. The Frozen Fauna is spectacular. Love those babies. I would do it any day....puke and all!
