mother earth.

she is a true gem. i love her. so beautiful. i could spend all day with her; out on a hike, climbing a waterfall, playing in the sand at the beach, surfing the day away. or my all time fave, just laying on the grass under a big ol' shady tree on a beautifully warm, sun filled afternoon.

last sunday, on tedsters real birthday, we took off for a day long drive to do nothing but enjoy all the lovely features that fall has to offer. had a picnic in provo canyon then headed up over sundance. got out in a couple spots to go on walks and do a bit leaf collecting. add to that some cloudiness and rain, perf.

stand up out of the sunroof of course. the falling water will splash your face.  make sure to take really deep breaths; taking full advantage of the crispy clean air. I. LOVE. NATURE.

i came back from taking a couple photes to see my son begging for more cookies and only being told "no more. youve already had a ton." what the? really dad? cookies all day for the birthday boy says mom! dirt on the shirt, as per usual.
