Heather &Horses

I have this friend. She is pretty cool. Wanna know what makes her even cooler? She has horses. I know.
Once upon a day she invited us over for a ride. Seeing as I have never ridden a horse in my entire life again, i know, nor had Pols or Teds & they are animal lovers to the max, we glee-fully accepted. It made for quite the lovely day.

1-1-2013

This year.... well, it is grand. & will continue to be. In its entirety. I have faith and a feeling in my bones.
We started it off right. Breakfast at the Westside Cafe our 4family spot. SO dungud yumm! then off to Barnes and Noble we were, for some "thomas and the train tracks" boy play time while Sissy and I chose some books for her reading level. She is the phonetics queen my little Polly is! I am quite proud of her as per usual. I dont think there is a thing im not proud of them for. Headed home for a bit of quiet time. After lunch, we were off to Coronado! IT. WAS. COLD. relatively. somedays I wish our bodies hadnt acclimated so quickly. It was probably like 60.  Tedster didnt even want to get out of the stroller. We werent very interested in staying too long. Once the sun was done painting the sky gorgeous-orangish & it fell down behind the ocean, we took our frozen tooshies to get some pizza and ice cream. There was also a machine with 25 cent mustaches. A fun filled day of love and beauty. Just the kind I like.

Christmas

Its taken me a while. Please forgive.
On the eve 24th, Doug and Al spent the night here with us as to be able to participate in all of the fun-ness that happens when little nuggets are involved. After a morning filled with flying wrapping paper, breakfast quiches and tired grown ups, we spent the late afternoon/ evening at their home. Everyone Grama and Grampa Pate, Kerry, Ma&Pa and my 4 family ventured over for a delightful meal and lovely company. It was a beauty of a Christmas. I am one lucky gal... to the maxxxxxx.

Fake mustaches in the stockings have become a Tanner family tradition.
Sweet Polly loves Penelope.
Sweet Ted still loves cars, trucks, helicopters, spiderman and of course... Fireman Sam. He even got a home made Fireman Sam costume.
The Merida wig was passed around.
Pink and green got a globe. They brought it over to talk to grama Pate about all of the places she has been and the places we will go.
sisTAAAAA!
My Aunt Kerry. I love her.
My 4 family. My faves.
Him. My very best friend.
Sweet secrets all around.

My Grampa Pate? Oh... he's only the best. ever.
You wish you knew 'bout us.
Siblingdom is the best.
Upon leaving, dearest grandmother had a few private words with my sweetie Klint and embraced him with her loving arms. On the way home,  this moment in time was the topic of our convo.
An excerpt:
K: that was one of the best hugs I have ever had.

My heart is full of love, joy and gratitude. For everything.
