i have made a decide (polly-ism) im going to be a natural dr.-ish
had a great day! decided that im going to go to school? its not really school, its more of a training program. but its amazing. back story: we this little tanner family are VERY into natural medicine. as anyone that knows anything about me should already know. as of late, we have been seeing this new "dr." a "voo doo dr" if you will thats what most refer to our natural dr.'s as. she is an energy kinesiologist. or simply healed is what this particular method is called. basically, what it is, is.... well... i dont really know what to describe it as. its one in its own. AMAZING I TELLYA! its like.... you go in, she finds out things about you by muscle testing. which, we have been going to a kinesiologist that does muscle testing for years now, but this is different. the energy part. they find out what kind of emotions, thought patterns and all that kind of stuff, your body has stored in its subconscious and get rid of it. help your body to let it go and teach it new, good processes. gets all of your chakras and meridians and everything flowing correctly. it helps people with SO MANY different things you seriously wouldnt believe. from depression and panic/ anxiety attacks to losing weight to allergies and everything in between. i have been ABSOLUTELY blown away at how much it has helped particularly myself, but my family also. it has been completely life changing. seriously. life changing. i dont know that iv ever said that about anything before. life changing. me being totally honest: after having teddy, i had serious bouts with anxiety. medication? well, we all know how i feel about those. more power to whoever wants to take them. whatever makes you happy and helps you to live your life is great. honestly. but i knew thats not what i wanted. so i searched. this is what i came across and i am me again. it may sound completely dumb, but the only way i can think to put it into words is that i am free. i since, have felt like my entire body is smiling. only down side? ooooh boy is it expensive! dont get me wrong, totally worth every single penny. i would have paid that woman a million dollars to get me out of where i was stuck at. but none the less, expensive. SO, since i have always loved learning of natural goodies, and love love love this new thing we have discovered over the last few months. why not learn it my self?! im going to. and its going to be great. not only will i have so much fun, i will be able to help others. although i think the lady we have been seeing is wonderful, i dont get the whole "im here to help you feel better and have a better life but am going to charge you all that you have to your name to get there" thing. i want all of my family and friends to be able to experience it because i honestly feel that it can benefit everyone, even if your not going crazy like i was. but not everyone can afford it. so, thats my plan. help. and have fun doing it. HOORAY!!!! im so excited.
heres a link that tells more about it. check it out.

i suppose its time
my pre-new years resolution, that is to be carried on through out the year, and my entire life, is to keep up on blogging. i am absolutely terrible at keeping a journal or any such thing. this is my solution to that problem. post at least once a week and at the end of each year, print 'er up. so, since it has been a couple weeks since my last, i suppose its time.
busy busy bees we have been! with what? i really dont know. everything. it is still after almost 4 years. i know!! 4 years! so crazy to me, how time and energy consuming parenting is. i always feel like a chicken running around with my head cut off. from the second i pop my eyes open in the morning, its go, go, go. from making food, feeding them, bathing them, changing diapers, changing in and out of 50 THOUSAND princess dresses, cleaning messes and all of that other special stuff mommies get to do. its rough sometimes. especially when both of the children, finally are tucked in bed and soundly asleep thats important. just cause they are in bed does NOT mean i get to relax just yet. they have to be asleep or the pink one is just laying there, calling for me to bring her a drink or read one more story or sing one more song and i get to take a moment to myself, sit down and do absolutely nothing but sit. by myself. with my own thoughts. thats when i think, "with all of that craziness that was i, this day, how in the hell is my house still such an atrocious mess?!" its then that i remember very wise words, once spoken, out of the mouth of father lindsay, "dont worry about it, you are raising your kids. not your house." and then, i feel better. he is so very right. and im gunna toot my own horn here, cause by the looks of this place each eve, im am doing a SPECTACULAR job at caring for those kids. we have fun. loads of it. they are beautiful little humans and i am so lucky. its nice too that klint gets to be home a lot to help and be around for the kids. once again. i am so lucky.
doug and alison came to visit over the weekend!! I WAS SOOOO EXCITED!!!! i love my little brother. with all of my heart and soul. we have been best friends from the start. he has a lady friend. they will be getting married some day. her name is alison. she is a gem, so much fun and i love her very dearly as well. im glad she is my seestar. so, DUH im gunna be stoked when they come. the kids were as well. they LOVE uncle doug and ant alison. we did lots of fun stuff. mostly just relaxing and shopping and eating and playing at home yes. lots of fun. those are my favorites. what else is there to do... in the cold... in utah? i know most will say what we have heard time and time again, "GO SKIING! GO SNOWBOARDING!!" EEEEH (oud buzz on game show indicating the wrong answer sound effect!!! we are beach bums. we enjoy the warmth, the ocean, sand castles and surfing. having grown up in san diego and living some years in denver, i can honestly say that the cold and snow rank a zero on the whats appealing to christine scale.
so, here are some pics of the events:

pink ninja
WE WENT ON A DATE!!!!!! i dont think anyone understands how big of a deal this is. we never get to do this. so naturally, when MG mother gwen, klintys mom called and asked to watch them to allow us time to go out, we jumped ALL OVER the opportunity. we doubled and had the great company of our dear friends, amber and landon. after eating a delicious thai meal and being thankful that no one got la duza, especially since the dehaas had never eaten thai before (?!?!) we scurried onto the theater and saw sherlock holmes. which was good, but i have mixed feelings about it.
also,
while brushing my teeth, polly happened upon her pink eye shadow.
and became a "PINK NINJA"
with some pretty intense moves
while i was in the shower, she happened upon her blue, added stripes and became a baby jaguar.
you should know,
"tigers dont have stripes, only jaguars!"
boy LOVES books.
and fish.
only makes sense that this is his reading material of choice, very often.
proudly sporting the necklace that his big sister made.

girls club. and sometimes a male enters
: this is when she and i get to spend a bit of everyday, with only each other. doing fun things usually always activities of her choice. recently, her faves are nail painting, make-up doing or lincoln log building.
make-up
a restaurant
on top of the mini trampoline she has permanently, in her mess of a room.
i would suggest purchasing one for your toddler. great and fun exercise!
painting of the fingertips not just nails
and the piggies
does scented nail polish, made for children, seem a bit off to you?
"here polly, sniff away...."
then came ted.
he prefers hair products
the end.
